A ballpark range — with every assumption stated out loud.

Set your area, pick a package, and flag the things that make a job harder. We show the math: base range, each modifier's effect, and the small-job minimum. No lowball bait number — just an honest window.

This is a planning range, NOT a quote.
Measure the turf footprint. Not sure? A typical Front Range backyard zone is 300–900 sq ft.

Flag what applies. Each one widens or raises the range — and we show exactly how much.

Assumptions (read these)

Ranges use each package's published $/sq ft installed figure × your area, then apply modifiers:

  • Multiplier modifiers (demo, slope, complex shapes, difficult access) scale the whole range because their cost grows with the job — they compound.
  • Per-sq-ft adders (drainage, sprinkler removal) add a flat dollar amount per square foot on top, because they're bolt-on scopes priced by area.
  • Small-job minimum: jobs under ~300 sq ft carry a floor around $3,800 installed — mobilization, base delivery, and seaming don't scale down to nothing.

These multipliers are planning heuristics for the Colorado Front Range, not a rate card. Real drainage, demo, and access costs vary widely with the specific site.
